Membership tiers
Every guest on Sidedoor has a membership tier. You’ll see it on the guest’s profile, next to their Sidedoor Score. It’s a quick signal of how committed a guest is to the platform.
The tiers
Section titled “The tiers”| Tier | Roughly means |
|---|---|
| Free | The default. Everyone starts here. |
| Premium | A paying member - has chosen to invest in Sidedoor. |
| Premium+ | The top paid tier - the most committed members. |
If you want to, you can use a guest’s tier to gate access to specific guest lists and events. On a Guest List access profile, the Venue access tier field lets you limit who can see and join that list: All, Exclusive (Premium and Premium+ members) or Super Exclusive (Premium+ members only). The same tier restriction can be applied to an event’s ticket visibility. It’s a visibility and access gate on that specific list or ticket, not an automatic “book further ahead” window, and it’s off unless you switch it on: you set it per profile under Settings → Policies → Access Profiles. There’s no equivalent setting on Table profiles, so tier does not by itself change access to tables.
What it means for you
Section titled “What it means for you”- It’s a trust signal. A paying member has skin in the game, and it counts as one of the signals behind their global Sidedoor Score - so a higher tier lifts a guest’s reputation a little.
- You don’t manage it. Membership is something guests buy and manage themselves; you can’t set or change a guest’s tier. It simply shows on their profile for context.
- It’s platform-wide. Like the Sidedoor Score, a guest’s tier is the same at every venue - it reflects their standing across all of Sidedoor.
