Analytics dashboards

The Analytics section (main menu → Analytics) is a set of ready-made dashboards that answer your everyday questions without any setup. Everything here spans all your venues, and a single period selector at the top drives the whole page:

  • Today
  • Last 24 hours
  • Last 7 days
  • Last 30 days
  • Last 90 days (default)
  • Last 6 months
  • Last 12 months

Pick the two shortest ranges (Today or Last 24 hours) and the Activity chart switches to an hourly view, and the Covers calendar card drops out (a month grid isn’t meaningful for a single day). The longer ranges bring it back.

The page is one scrolling set of cards.

Above the cards, an Ask a question about your data box lets you ask Aimy about what’s on screen - for example “why were Fridays down last month?” or “how are my no-shows trending across venues?”. Pressing Ask (or one of the example prompts) opens the Aimy chat panel, where Aimy answers in plain English from your own figures, as a conversation you can keep asking follow-up questions in.

Aimy takes into account the period and venues selected on this page, so a question like “why were covers down?” is scoped to what’s on screen - naming a different period or venue in your question overrides it.

Five numbers set the scene: Bookings, Covers, Unique guests, No-show rate and Average rating over the chosen period. If there are no reviews in the window, the rating tile shows “No reviews in this period”.

A trend chart of bookings and covers per day, so you can see the shape of demand over the period - quiet stretches, busy weekends, the run-up to an event.

A bar chart ranking your busiest venues by covers (top venues shown), for a quick read on where the volume is.

A heatmap of covers by day-of-week and hour, shown in each venue’s local time, with the peak slot called out. Use it to see when you’re genuinely full and to plan staffing.

A month grid shaded by how busy each day was, with previous/next month controls. Click any day to drill in and list that day’s bookings and reservations by time, party size, status and venue. (Guest names appear here only for teammates with guest access.)

How your floor actually runs:

  • KPIs - Seat fill, Average turn time, Overstay rate and No-show rate.
  • Late tables & turns - turns, average turn time versus your planned minutes, overstays, and the knock-on effect of back-to-back tables.
  • No-show economics - covers lost to no-shows, and (with revenue access) the minimum spend lost and deposits recovered.

How many guests are searching for a table, and where the demand falls away, straight from real guest searches in your booking widgets and the Sidedoor app (staff lookups aren’t counted). Figures refresh overnight, so a search made today shows up here the next day.

  • KPIs - Searched, Found no availability, Started checkout and Booked.
  • Funnel - Searched → Found availability → Started checkout → Booked, so you can see exactly where demand falls away.
  • Where guests dropped off - why a search or checkout didn’t end in a booking: they found no availability, the slot filled just as they pressed Book, no table fit their party size, they left checkout before paying, or they left during payment.
  • Searches that found no availability, by day and hour - a grid of the requested date and time behind every no-availability search, with the fullest night (and its busiest hour) called out - so you know exactly when to open more tables or add a second sitting.

Booking demand covers table searches and follows the same period and venue pickers as the rest of the page.

Who’s coming, and how valuable they are:

  • KPIs - New vs returning, Cross-venue guests, At-risk guests and average spend per guest.
  • Segment mix - chips for the lifecycle segments Loyal, Active, New, At risk and Lapsed.
  • Top guests - a table with each guest’s visits, covers, spend, recency, venues and segment, plus an estimated yearly value. Export CSV is available here.

Guest names and emails need guest access; spend and value figures need revenue access.

How your vouchers are selling and being redeemed: Issued, Redemption rate, Breakage rate and Outstanding, plus revenue and outstanding liability by currency for teammates with revenue access.

For past events: Events, Sell-through, Attendance and Tickets sold, with a per-event table and revenue by currency (revenue access).
