Email templates
Templates are reusable, branded email designs you build once and reuse across your campaigns and automations. Set your look - header, colours, images, layout - save it, and drop it into any email send instead of starting from a blank page each time. You’ll find them under Marketing → Templates.
Managing templates
Section titled “Managing templates”The Templates tab is a thumbnail grid of your saved designs. From here you can:
- Create a new template.
- Edit an existing one.
- Rename it.
- Duplicate it - a quick way to spin a variant off a design that works.
- Delete it.
You can add images to a template. Uploads accept JPG, PNG, GIF and WebP files under a few megabytes (SVG isn’t supported), and they’re served from stable links so they keep working in emails you’ve already sent.
How templates behave in a send
Section titled “How templates behave in a send”When you pick a template while composing a campaign or automation, its design is snapshotted at that moment. Editing the template later won’t change a campaign or automation you’ve already set up - your live sends keep going out exactly as you built them until you open them and choose a template again. This is the same snapshot behaviour automations rely on.
