Account settings
Everything about your account lives under Profile. Here’s what you can change.
Your profile
Section titled “Your profile”Open Profile → Account to edit your details:

| Full name | The name shown at the door. |
| You’ll be asked to verify a new email when you save. | |
| Phone | Your contact number. |
| Date of birth | Used for age-restricted venues and events. |
| Address | Start typing for autocomplete, then confirm your postcode. |
| Password | Set a new password (at least 8 characters) and confirm it. |
Your two-factor status is shown here too, with a link to manage it. Tap Save to apply your changes.
Security (two-factor authentication)
Section titled “Security (two-factor authentication)”For an extra layer of protection, turn on two-factor authentication under Profile → Security.
- Choose to set up two-factor.
- Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (or enter the secret manually).
- Enter the 6-digit code from the app to verify and switch it on.
Once it’s on, you’ll enter a 6-digit code from your app each time you sign in with a password. You can disable it from the same screen whenever you like.
Socials
Section titled “Socials”Under Profile → Socials you can add your Instagram and TikTok handles, and follow Sidedoor on its own channels.
Preferences
Section titled “Preferences”Profile → Preferences is where you tune how the app looks and what it tells you:
- Dark mode - switch between light and dark.
- Notifications - for each category (Booking confirmations, Reminders, Venue replies, and News & events) choose whether to get them in-app and by email.
- Location - turn location on so Sidedoor can show venues near you, or off for privacy.
